Security Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities in our software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual and automated code reviews to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement automated security testing tools and integrate them into our continuous integration systems.
  • Develop and implement hardening and secure frameworks to protect our software applications.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on our web APIs, front-end services, internal RPCs, and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with our Software Engineering Team to ensure that product security requirements are identified early on and incorporated into all projects.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Academic background in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Relevant professional experience or extensive experience in security activities (e.g., CTF, bug bounty, security research, publications).
  • Practical knowledge of modern software development methodologies, including microservices, application containerization, REST architecture, object-oriented programming, stateless/stateful authentication, and cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, C#, Objective-C, Swift.
  • Experience in security code review, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10 and CWE, including business logic issues (e.g., IDOR).
  • Core skill set in two or more of the following areas:
    • JavaScript framework (e.g., React)
    • Java framework (e.g., Spring)
    • Android/iOS platform
    • DevOps
    • AWS
    • Automation tool development
    • Dynamic debugging
    • Unit testing
    • Algorithm/data structure
