Software Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Software Security Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong background in software security and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of DevSecOps tools and technologies, as well as experience with project management methodologies such as Agile.

In this role, you will assist the lead Project Manager with project management tasks, including identifying and assessing vulnerabilities and helping software teams through the remediation process. You will also collaborate with DevOps teams, software teams, and product owners to integrate good software and product security practices into our workflows.

The goal is to make security an integral part of our software development process. To achieve this, we need someone with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, as well as a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps. Strong hands-on programming skills in C are also required.

Key Requirements:
  • A strong background in software security and DevOps practices

Technical Skills:
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps tools and technologies
  • Static Code Analysis Dependency Software composition analysis
  • Secrets scanning Dynamic application Security testing
  • SBOM creation and analysis Vulnerability management and security risk management techniques
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code and management tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps and strong hands-on programming skill in C
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
