Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Overview:

As a seasoned cybersecurity specialist, you will lead the deployment, optimization, and support of advanced security solutions for enterprise clients. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions, solve complex security problems, and contribute to best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Create and review high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), and implementation/change management plans.
  • Security Solution Delivery: Troubleshoot firewalls, identity solutions, email security, web security/proxy, and cloud security.
  • Test Environment Management: Resolve compatibility issues and optimize solutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Perform L1-L7 troubleshooting across networks and applications.
  • Collaboration: Provide pre-sales support and solution demonstrations to consulting engineers and sales teams.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document solutions and develop reusable scripts, tools, and documentation for the practice.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network/security technologies.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing security solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security protocols (TCP/IP, encryption, application/network/link layer protocols).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to document solutions and present effectively.

Desired Skills:

  • Programming with Python and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with emerging Cisco security products and cloud security solutions.
  • Ability to work across time zones and occasional weekends.
