We are seeking an expert in software deployment to join our team as a Software Deployment Specialist.

About the Role

This role focuses on ensuring the right delivery approach is used for various applications, including executing application intake, packaging, technical testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and resolving incidents and requests related to packages.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper packaging and delivery methods are employed based on application requirements.
  • Adhere to agreed-upon processes to execute the steps of the application packaging process within Service Level Agreement (SLA) limits.
  • Resolve incidents and requests related to packages in accordance with SLAs.
  • Liaise with stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage and support customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Respond to and resolve assigned incidents, implement requests, and changes while ensuring appropriate actions are taken to prevent SLA breaches or unforeseen business impacts.
  • Liaise with other teams and stakeholders to resolve tickets.

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, utilizing setup commands/scripting, repackaging, and customizing setup applications using tools like InstallShield and RayPack.
