Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Sales Manager to join our team at Paytm Insider. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and venue management, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase venue bookings and sales through ticketed events.
    • Manage contracts, negotiations, agreements, and bids.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing venues at Insider.
    • Identify client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients, showcasing venue features and benefits.
  • Venue Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of fixed venues, ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure venues are prepared for events.
    • Ensure venue details are updated with the team.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
    • Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to attract and engage potential clients.
    • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote venues and generate leads.
  • Budget and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for fixed venues, ensuring profitability.
    • Monitor expenses and revenues, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.
    • Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the event industry in Account Management. Minimum 5 years in Sales.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in the local language/languages of the region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of helping achieve sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Working Conditions:
