Event Sales Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Event Sales Manager to join our team at Paytm Insider. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and venue management, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase venue bookings and sales through ticketed events.
- Manage contracts, negotiations, agreements, and bids.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing venues at Insider.
- Identify client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients, showcasing venue features and benefits.
- Venue Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of fixed venues, ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure venues are prepared for events.
- Ensure venue details are updated with the team.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to attract and engage potential clients.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote venues and generate leads.
- Budget and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for fixed venues, ensuring profitability.
- Monitor expenses and revenues, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the event industry in Account Management. Minimum 5 years in Sales.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficient in the local language/languages of the region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of helping achieve sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work from Office with frequent travel.
- Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate client schedules and deadlines.
