Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company's long-term goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, accounting principles, and risk management. A minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles is required.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
  • Overseeing the preparation and approval of all financial reporting metrics. Directing the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Preparing and presenting financial statements and reports. Conducting financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensuring efficient operation of the finance function, managing cash flow and expense control processes. Implementing operational best practices to maximise revenue.
  • Understanding and mitigating key elements of the company's risk profile. Monitoring all open legal issues involving the company. Constructing and monitoring reliable control systems.
  • Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions. Representing the company with bankers and investors.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations. Reporting financial results to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Overseeing the company's transaction processing systems.
  • Leading, developing, and mentoring the finance team. Managing the accounting and finance departments.

The qualifications for this role include:

  • Education: CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and risk management.
    • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
    • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
