Job Opportunity

You are sought after to play a crucial role in supporting the design and deployment of an AI-driven solution for regulatory horizon scanning. This cutting-edge project leverages Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and advanced analytics to automatically monitor, interpret, and analyse regulatory updates across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor global and regional regulatory bodies for new and updated regulations, consultation papers, and guidance.
  • Build and optimise pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured regulatory publications.
  • Automate document classification using NLP, LLMs, and machine learning to identify topics, obligations, timelines, and impacted regulations.
  • Extract key data requirements from regulatory texts and speeches.
  • Map regulatory changes to reporting frameworks/reporting solution and internal policies.
  • Support impact assessments for upcoming regulations.

Deliverables

  • Develop agents capable of summarising regulatory updates and recommending next steps.
  • Train, fine-tune, and validate models to improve regulatory document interpretation and summarisation.
  • Design automation workflows for regulatory monitoring and stakeholder notifications.

Qualifications

  • 6-10+ years of experience in financial services or compliance.
  • Prior experience implementing AI-driven solutions or RegTech projects.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks to streamline regulatory processes.
  • Regulatory Domain Expertise
    • Strong understanding of prudential and transaction reporting frameworks: Basel III/IV, EMIR Refit, MiFID II, SFTR, Dodd-Frank, CFTC, SEC, MAS, HKMA, APRA, etc.
  • Ai & Data Skills
    • Hands-on experience with NLP, LLMs, and ML techniques for text classification, summarisation, and entity extraction.
    • Proficiency in Python (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with AxiomSL RegCoPILOT, Quantexa, Wolters Kluwer, Moody's RiskIntegrity,NICE Actimize.
