Job Title: Memory Layout Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Memory Layout Architect to develop and verify memory compiler layouts.

This role involves designing and developing memory blocks such as array, row/column decoder, sense amplifier, pre-charge, and control blocks for SRAM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform layout verification including LVS/DRC/Latchup, quality check, and documentation
  • Deliver high-quality block-level layouts on time
  • Lead junior team members in their execution of sub-block level layouts and review their work

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with various levels of memory layouts from custom memory bits to leaf cells, control blocks, read/write, sense amplifiers, and decoders
  • Expertise in floor planning, power planning, and block area estimation of memory designs or compilers
  • Able to perform leaf cell layout development and physical verification
  • Adequate knowledge of schematics, interface with circuit designers, and CAD and process development teams
  • Good understanding of layout fundamentals including electro-migration, latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, parasitic analysis, matching, shielding, etc.
  • Understanding of layout effects on circuits such as speed, capacitance, power, and area, etc.
  • Proficient in Cadence tools including Virtuoso schematic editor, Virtuoso layout, L, XL & Verification tools like Mentor Calibre

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership qualities and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a team environment and guide fellow team members
  • Skill coding and layout automation knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities:
