High-Impact Fintech Product Engineer

We're looking for a seasoned tech leader who's not just great at coding, but also at guiding their team, solving complex problems, and building high-performance systems.

What You'll Do:

We're seeking an experienced software engineer with a passion for fintech innovation. As a key member of our tech team, you will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code and leading your team to do the same. You will work closely with our product team to understand new features and projects, and figure out the best way to build them using cutting-edge technologies like Golang, Kafka, and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write high-quality, modular code and guide your team to follow best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable systems that can handle high traffic without breaking a sweat.
  • Work with containerized deployments and automation scripts to ensure smooth operation of our services.
  • Conduct detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to our coding standards.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions to stay aligned with the team.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and reduce onboarding time.
  • Distribute tasks effectively within your team and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, and Sentry, and quickly respond to incidents when they occur.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles and experience building large-scale systems.
  • Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana, New Relic, or Sentry.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or Shell scripting.
