Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Manager to spearhead our legal and regulatory affairs. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to make a meaningful impact in the fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice on commercial agreements, including contract negotiation, drafting, review, and closure.
  • Support general corporate legal matters with a deep understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain efficient contract negotiation and management processes, including standard form agreements and legal databases.
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory bodies, providing policy advocacy support, and ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Evaluate and ensure that all legal and commercial arrangements comply with applicable laws.

Requirements:

  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably from a law firm.
  • Essential experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters.
  • Prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks, including RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
  • A proactive legal professional who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with regulatory bodies confidently.
