Job Title: 2D Concept Artist - Mobile Gaming

We are seeking a talented and experienced 2D concept artist to join our team. As a 2D concept artist, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development. You should be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and have advanced 2D character illustration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Illustrate 2D Characters: Create unique and engaging 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms.
  • Develop Visually Appealing Backgrounds and Props: Design and develop visually appealing 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets.
  • Export and Assemble Final Assets: Export and assemble final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and file specifications.
  • Playtest and Provide Feedback: Regularly play our games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow, and offer clear, actionable feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development.
  • Skills: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, advanced 2D character illustration skills, and ability to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline.
  • Soft Skills: Strong aesthetic sense, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits.
