Accounting Leadership Role

This leadership role is designed to oversee the financial reporting process and ensure accurate and timely completion of all accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Month-End/Year-End Closing: Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Supervise the preparation and review of account reconciliations, ensuring that all discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Financial Analysis: Support financial analysis and variance analysis, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost savings or process improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of junior accountants and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Mandatory).
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience with ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial software.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements for financial reporting.
