MySQL Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of MySQL databases within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Database Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance MySQL databases that meet the needs of our business.
  2. Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize SQL queries, database structures, and server configurations for efficiency and speed.
  3. Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage robust backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and minimize data loss in case of system failures or disasters.
  4. Security and Compliance: Enforce database security measures, manage user access and permissions, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
  5. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly, provide on-call support for critical production issues, and implement preventive measures.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to design database schemas, optimize application interactions with the database, and support new feature implementations.
