Job Description

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our MySQL database to ensure it is running efficiently and effectively. This includes designing and implementing data models, logical and physical database design, and ensuring that the database is secure and compliant with relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: We are looking for candidates with experience in database administration, particularly with MySQL RDBMS.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of SQL, Java script, and XML.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems internals, Shell scripting, monitoring, debugging, and data modeling.
  • Database Administration: Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models, as well as knowledge of Performance Tuning and Optimization.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with teams.
