Content Specialist Job Description

As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives and drive learner acquisition. Your primary goal will be to craft compelling copy that drives enrolment and conversion.

  • Crafting course descriptions, curriculum outlines, and educational content that resonates with our audience.
  • Developing white papers, case studies, and thought leadership content to establish industry authority.
  • Creating persuasive ad scripts for video, display, and social media campaigns with proven ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies that meet or exceed business goals.
  • Write high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with data teams to measure content ROI and attribution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in content marketing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in content writing/copywriting, preferably in EdTech or digital marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Portfolio requirement: Must demonstrate measurable results (conversion rates, engagement metrics, campaign performance).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, schema markup, keyword research, and search intent optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CMS (WordPress, HubSpot), email platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to work with design teams on content-visual integration.
