We are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to take ownership of mortgage underwriting cases from start to finish.

This opportunity allows you to develop your skills and work on complex UK & US mortgage underwriting challenges with complete autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate borrower profiles using the 4 Cs of Credit – Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral.
  • Conduct a thorough Credit Report Review for accurate risk assessment.
  • Work on both UK Mortgage and US Mortgage underwriting, including income calculation, debt-to-income ratio assessment, loan-to-value ratio evaluation, asset calculation, and PITI review.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless processing and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.5 years of underwriting experience (Live / End-to-End).
  • Experience in the UK Mortgage process or the US Mortgage underwriting – both will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Credit Report Review, DTI, LTV, PITI, Income & Asset calculations.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
