Job Title: SAP PP QM Consultant

 

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced SAP PP QM consultant to lead our implementation project.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP PP and QM functionalities, as well as strong business analysis skills.
  • This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project and make a significant impact on our organization's operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and design customized solutions using SAP PP QM functionalities.
  • Optimize production planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, WM, and FI/CO.
  • Configure quality inspection plans, certificates, and defect management workflows.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and user training sessions.
  • Provide end-user support and resolve system-related issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.

Project Management:

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with other functional leads to ensure seamless integration and data flow between SAP modules.

Gathering and Analysis:

  • Conduct workshops and meetings to gather detailed business requirements specific to production planning and quality management.
  • Analyze and map these requirements to SAP PP & QM functionalities, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.

Design and Configuration:

  • Design and configure the SAP PP module to support production planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Design and configure the SAP QM module to support quality planning, inspection, and control processes.
  • Develop and implement custom solutions where standard SAP functionalities do not meet business needs.

Management:

  • Ensure robust integration between SAP PP & QM and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO) as well as third-party systems.
  • Coordinate data migration activities, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of legacy production and quality data.

Quality Assurance and Support:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify and resolve defects and issues, ensuring the solution meets quality and performance standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, focusing on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance during the hypercare phase and beyond.
