Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for sourcing vendors, purchasing various ingredients and packing materials, lowering cost of procurement, vendor management besides inventory management as well as negotiating contracts.

About the Role

The position is at New Delhi in India. You will be part of a team that continually innovates products and is driven to fulfill the needs of customers efficiently and innovatively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing vendors and suppliers
  • Purchasing various vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and food ingredients and packing materials
  • Lowering cost of procurement through effective negotiation and management
  • Vendor management and relationship building
  • Inventory management and coordination

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical/formulation/food manufacturing
  • Knowledge of purchasing vitamins, APIs, ingredients, and packing materials
  • Knowledge of Drugs & Cosmetics and FSSAI compliance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
