About the role:

We're seeking a seasoned DevSecOps professional to blend cloud infrastructure, security tooling, and automation into a robust developer and security platform. You'll be responsible for securing Kubernetes clusters, streamlining security pipelines, and ensuring vulnerability-free environments.

This high-impact role is ideal for someone who thrives in production-grade environments and balances scalability with security. Your work will directly protect critical workloads while empowering developers to move faster.

Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and securing core AWS services; collaborating with the Infosec team to recommend security best practices; partnering with Application and Infrastructure teams to understand SecOps requirements; identifying security gaps and driving initiatives aligned with business goals; strengthening Kubernetes/EKS clusters with best practices around RBAC, secrets management, runtime security, and policy-as-code; implementing and managing AWS security tools – IAM (SSO/Identity Center), SecurityHub, GuardDuty, Config, KMS, and Control Tower guardrails; and setting up and tuning CSPM and SIEM platforms.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services (IAM, GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Config, Control Tower, KMS).
  • Experience managing and securing Kubernetes/EKS workloads, with focus on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security.
  • Solid understanding of AWS networking and security fundamentals (VPNs, VPCs, TGW, firewalls, routing).
  • Practical knowledge of CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF solutions (Cloudflare) and firewall appliances (Palo/Fortinet).
  • Familiarity with code quality and security scanning tools like SonarQube, Codecov, Trivy, Inspector.
  • Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix, scripting (Bash/Python), and cloud automation.
