Cloud Architect Job Description

This is a challenging position for an experienced cloud architect to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled cloud engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cloud-native architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and maintain network architecture, like VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, etc.
  • Cloud-Native Architecture: Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures for LLM-based products and services.
  • Docker and Kubernetes: Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and updates.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with AI product manager, data engineers to transform prototypes into production.
  • MLOps/AI Ops: Implement best practices in MLOps/AI Ops for model versioning, monitoring, and automation.
  • CICD Pipelines: Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, palo alto firewalls, load balancers, Meraki switches/access points, and other network security measures.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in GCP and Azure.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps/AI Ops and network security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
