Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the primary platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining scalable AWS-based cloud solutions using a comprehensive range of AWS services, including VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, DynamoDB, and SNS.
  • Implementing robust identity and access management (IAM) controls to ensure secure user and system access.
  • Collaborating with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing and integrating security controls into cloud platforms.
  • Monitoring cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using advanced tools like SIEM systems.
  • Automating cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Securing and encrypting data through the provision of secret management solutions with versioning enabled.
Key Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
