As a firewall support specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting remote access internet VPN products, managed security and network services, software as a service products with high first call resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Provide phone, chat, and email support to customers.\
  • Apply handling processes consistently and log all communications received into the ticketing system.\
  • Establish quality working relationships with customers and follow defined standards to resolve problems.\
  • Escalate issues within defined standards and perform incident, problem, and change management process for firewalls according to ITIL standards.\
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.\
  • Utilize superior multi-channel communication skills to effectively communicate with customers.\
  • Experience with network protocols and concepts including SSH, FTP, ICMP, TCP/IP (IPv4 & IPv6), Network Address Translation (NAT), SNMP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, and VLANs.\
  • Familiarity with Meraki and Fortinet firewalls and ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and communications issues.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the field of network security.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.\
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.\
