Integration Specialist

About the Role:

A skilled Integration Specialist is required to design, develop and support integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integration flows using IIB.
  • Develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes and other integration components.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions.
  • Document design, development and operational procedures.
  • Work with other middleware technologies as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Support production deployments and provide post-deployment support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IIB developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus.
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java and message flow development.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON and data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
