Workday Technical Consultant

A career as a Workday Technical Consultant offers the opportunity to work on complex HR solutions and technical implementations.

This role requires collaboration with partners to gather integration requirements, understanding business needs, designing and developing integrations using Workday Studio, ensuring efficient data flow and compatibility. Implementing and maintaining integrations while adhering to best practices and data security standards is also key.

Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, working closely with cross-functional teams, creating technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user guides are all part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with partners to gather integration requirements and understand business needs.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, ensuring efficient data flow and compatibility.
  • Implementation and Maintenance: Implement and maintain integrations while adhering to best practices and data security standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) working as a Workday Integrations Consultant with a focus on Workday Studio.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and calculated fields.
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of integration concepts, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and web services.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
