Job Description:

As a key member of the Brick & Bolt team, the Project Cost Estimator Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. This involves estimating the cost of construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment, and creating budgets to track expenses throughout the project. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a solid understanding of construction and the ability to identify and manage potential risks that could impact the project's cost, schedule, or quality. They will also have excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
• Estimate the cost of construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Create budgets to track expenses throughout the project.
• Identify and manage potential risks that could impact the project's cost, schedule, or quality.
• Evaluate ways to increase the value of the project without increasing costs.
• Review construction plans and prepare quantity take-off and update data as design revisions are made.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.
