Accounting Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage our accounting team in a multi-site environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation of periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and practices, and promoting the use of common processes and tools.

About the Role:

  • Plan, organize, and review activities of the accounting team including accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, and cash management.
  • Work with corporate teams to grow the finance function globally, supporting international operations.
  • Lead the year-end audit process for the region, ensuring financial statements comply with relevant standards and practices.
  • Promote best practices/strategies across the region, using harmonized processes and tools.
  • Collaborate and align with FP&A and Global Finance to provide support for planning initiatives through financial analysis and management information.
  • Ensure all internal controls and procedures are in place and effective.
  • Participate in other special projects as required for business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience in a multi-site environment and international operations.
  • Experience managing a full-cycle accounting team.

Key Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of IFRS standards.
  • Knowledge of SAP is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
