Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role involves developing and executing manual and automated test cases for OTT platforms, ensuring compatibility with protocols like HLS and DASH.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for video playback, UI/UX, and streaming performance.
  • Test video streaming workflows, including encoding, packaging, and delivery.
  • Validate content delivery across multiple platforms and CDNs, and perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Monitor and validate streaming quality metrics.
Requirements

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with at least 1-2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of video streaming protocols and OTT platform testing requirements.
  • Experience testing on multiple devices and platforms.
  • Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, CDNs, DRM systems, and OTT monetization workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Experience with Selenium, Appium, or custom test automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of content delivery networks (CDNs).
