About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced US Counsellor to join our team at RankBloc Services. As a US Counsellor, you will play a vital role in guiding students through the university admissions process and ensuring their success in higher education abroad.

In this role, you will be responsible for taking complete ownership of a group of students, including course and country evaluation, onboarding, detailed counselling, and regular follow-ups. You will also develop a deep understanding of the university admissions process, application and intake cycle, and create a trusted relationship with students as their Coach for any guidance related to University admissions and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective counselling strategies to support student success
  • Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and education institutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless student support
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in university admissions policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and develop action plans to address any challenges

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate/MBA in the field of business/management/psychology with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Proven experience in student counselling and guiding students specifically for the USA
  • In-depth knowledge of the US education system, universities, programs, admission processes, and visa regulations
  • Exemplary sales and negotiation skills, with a student-first approach
  • Strong research skills and ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively
