Senior ServiceNow Developer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering results against complex business and technology initiatives. This full-time position is based out of IND-Coimbatore and requires a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced professional who can drive innovation.

This role will involve designing and evolving the ServiceNow platform to meet growing business requirements. The successful candidate will report to the Manager of IT Service Management and grow as they oversee platform governance, help mentor Level 2 support, and retain hands-on access for development and advanced troubleshooting.

This combined technical leadership with operational impact role will drive digital transformation, shape the ServiceNow strategy, and enhance user experience while working with a skilled team in a flexible growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development: Meet real business needs with smart, scalable solutions, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations. Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
  • L3 Support & Mentoring: Act as the primary escalation point for complex challenges. Guide others on lower-complexity challenges and best practices. Maintain knowledge documentation about ServiceNow.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Define and enforce standards, architectural, and process guidelines. Govern enhancements, favoring configuration changes over customizations. Turn data into action by leveraging performance analytics to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support data-driven decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Hands-on Experience working with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, APIs, and Service Portal is required.
  • Certified in ITIL V3 or above is highly desired.
  • Experience with managing CMDB is highly desired.
  • Experience with web pages and widgets using Bootstrap and AngularJS is highly desired.
