Job Description

As a seasoned ETL professional, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of DataStage ETL programs. Your expertise in fine-tuning ETL jobs for high-volume data processing with high velocity will enable our team to efficiently process large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of DataStage ETL programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with analysts and data modelers to capture business logic and translate it into DataStage ETL jobs.
  • Develop and implement best practices for ETL development, including documentation standards and code reviews.
  • Design and develop DataStage ETL programs that can handle high-volume data processing with high velocity, ensuring seamless batch processing.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT using DataStage.
  • Expertise in developing DataStage ETL jobs and sequencers in an enterprise warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including analysts and data modelers.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
