Telecommunications Engineering Professional

We are partnering with a world-class telecommunications leader to deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions and comprehensive network support.

This US-based company has been a trusted partner for over 20 years, providing essential infrastructure that keeps the world connected. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will join their international team in supporting clients across the globe from India, working 100% remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex issues with GTD-5 switches requiring 5+ years of experience.
  • Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support, including fault isolation and resolution.
  • Collaborate with customers, support teams, and vendors to resolve network problems.
  • Guide field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement.
  • Document internal processes and mentor other engineers.
  • Ensure accurate ticket updates and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' hands-on GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with call processing and translations.
  • Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance.
  • Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively.
  • Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
