About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead the design, configuration and deployment of SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture and integration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design, configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications
  • Architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting solutions
  • Ensuring seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems
  • Developing and maintaining secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT and OPC UA protocols
  • Managing industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
  • Providing technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong background in system architecture and integration
  • Experience with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation and scripting module configuration
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
