Process Excellence Manager Job Description

As a Process Excellence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving lean transformation and process standardization across the water purifier product line.

The successful candidate will have experience with structured Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies and be skilled at establishing frameworks to measure process performance. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead and implement structured improvement initiatives across business processes.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
COGS Ownership
  • Partner with product, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to optimize cost of goods sold (COGS) drivers.
  • Develop and lead value engineering initiatives.
  • Monitor and report COGS savings against targets.
Standardization & Best Practices
  • Develop and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical processes.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and adapt them to water purifier manufacturing and service models.
  • Enable digital tools for process monitoring and efficiency improvement.
Quality & Efficiency
  • Collaborate with Quality teams to reduce defect rates and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to improve yield and throughput.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce rework, scrap, and warranty costs.
Change Management & Capability Building
  • Build organizational capability in Lean/Process Excellence through training and coaching.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead structured problem-solving (A3, RCA, 8D) across teams.
