Associate Systems Analyst Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Associate Systems Analyst. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our data & analytics products.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, including software development processes, databases, and cloud-based systems. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in global, virtual teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining existing code and configuration to ensure smooth operation of our data & analytics products.
  • Developing and deploying new code based on designs created with the guidance of senior team members.
  • Generating clear and concise code documentation to ensure easy future reference.
  • Participating in peer code reviews to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
  • Assisting in writing unit and integration tests to validate new features and functionalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid technical background, including understanding software development processes, databases, and cloud-based systems.
  • Ability to triage and resolve incidents, with a focus on maintaining SLAs.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of testing methodologies.
  • Experience working with databases, data modeling, and data warehousing (Oracle, MySQL).
  • Ability to understand and map business requirements to system capabilities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Curiosity of modern technology domain and learning agility.
  • Experience with AWS Services, API integration, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Testing tools.

Professional Certifications:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner (Preferred).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
