Job Title: In-House Legal Counsel

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal Advisor to manage all legal and compliance matters for our organization.

This role involves drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications. You will also be responsible for handling compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters, as well as representing our organization in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters with precision and diligence.
  • Represent our organization in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices with confidence and expertise.
  • Maintain organized legal records and case files with ease and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide timely updates to management.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes with sound judgment and analytical skills.

Requirements & Skills:

  • LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently with ease and efficiency.
