Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional who will guide and assist companies through business registrations, state tax registrations, payroll registrations, and maintain ongoing statutory compliance in India. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, comprehensive understanding of Indian corporate laws, local and state regulatory frameworks, and excellent client management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage company incorporation processes, including obtaining necessary approvals, licenses, and registrations.
- Facilitate and complete local and state tax registrations such as GST, Professional Tax, Shops and Establishment, MSME, etc.
- Handle payroll registration processes, including PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), and other mandatory labor registrations.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and other statutory obligations, including ROC filings, annual returns, and mandatory audits.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation required for business licenses, renewals, and amendments.
- Regularly update clients on changes in compliance regulations and statutory obligations.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and assessments for client companies.
- Liaise and maintain positive relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and legal advisors.
- Provide advisory services on compliance best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Assist clients with statutory payroll compliance, including timely submissions of necessary reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience handling business registrations and corporate compliance in India.
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, labor laws, and local/state regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience dealing directly with governmental and regulatory bodies.
