Print Production Manager Job Description">

The Print Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of print projects, ensuring timely deliverables through meticulous project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client expectations and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Adhere to client processes and policies, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with artwork studios and printers to guarantee high-quality prints and consistency across projects.
  • Offer support during the design phase, reviewing artwork and identifying potential risks.
  • Lead conversations with stakeholders regarding color assessments for print work.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, tracking project timelines and meeting deadlines.
  • Manage color standards storage and arrange logistics as required.
  • Take initiative and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Foster positive relationships across stakeholders.
  • Provide onsite, offsite, and printer-site support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive print production experience or an equivalent combination of education.
  • Client-facing experience and prior experience in Project/Account management.
  • Familiarity with Color Management or Separation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of various print methods (e.g., Offset, Flexo, or Gravure).
  • Excellent analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and external clients or vendors.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Occasional travel may be required (local/international).
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
