Cash management is a vital aspect of any financial operation. It encompasses the process of effectively managing cash inflows and outflows to ensure that a company maintains sufficient funds to meet its financial commitments.

The team responsible for cash management plays a pivotal role in this process, working closely with the investment team and cash desks to update available cash and future projections promptly.

Key responsibilities of a cash manager include:

  • Managing cash requirements and reporting on cash balances and transactions accurately
  • Reviewing cash reconciliations and identifying discrepancies efficiently
  • Researching and resolving breaks in cash balances or transactions professionally
  • Ensuring accurate trade life cycle knowledge and effective communication skills
  • Understanding Investment Banking operations concepts comprehensively

To succeed in this role, an individual should possess:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cash management
  • Valid experience in cash reconciliations process (Custody vs Local systems) with international Investment Banking Operations, TD/SD Concepts, Corp Actions
  • Strong knowledge of FX related concepts and their practical applications
  • Excellent communication and MS Office skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including non-traditional hours if required
