Identity Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and maintaining our identity infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ID Infrastructure Design & Maintenance: Develop and implement robust identity solutions across our organization.
  • Access Control Management: Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies across systems.
  • Identity Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and report on identity-related activities, access patterns, and anomalies.
  • Collaboration with Security Architects: Work closely with security architects to design and improve identity infrastructure.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during audits and compliance efforts by offering identity-related evidence and reports.
  • User Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist in user onboarding/offboarding processes and access provisioning/deprovisioning.
  • Security Risk Identification: Identify and address identity security risks and misconfigurations.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for IAM processes and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with AD & Microsoft Entra ID: Must have experience with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Identity Reporting & Analytics: Understanding of identity reporting and analytics (e.g., access logs, entitlement reviews).
  • Identity Architecture & Protocols: Understanding of identity architecture, protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and lifecycle management.
  • RBAC Management: Understanding of managing RBAC models.
  • Identity Security Principles: Knowledge of identity security principles, including least privilege and zero trust.

Nice to Have:

  • Azure IAM Experience: Experience with Azure IAM features (e.g., Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management).
  • AWS IAM Exposure: Exposure to AWS IAM and cloud identity integrations.
  • Scripting/Automation: Scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Azure DLP Experience: Azure DLP (Purview) experience.
