Job Overview

We are currently seeking a seasoned backend professional to play a pivotal role in the development of a live financial platform.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering, preferably within the realm of financial services.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js with the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of PostgreSQL database design, schema optimization, and real-world query crafting.
  • Excellent knowledge of designing and implementing secure RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of backend services utilizing TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Crafting transactional business logic for financial workflows (e.g. onboarding, withdrawals).
  • Designing and maintaining efficient PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries.
  • Integrating third-party APIs securely using OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Improving existing systems for performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration through GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
