Software Engineer in Test Role

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our QA team. As a key member of our group, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure high software quality across web and API layers.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Developing and maintaining automated tests using C# and Selenium to guarantee optimal test coverage and efficiency.
  • Executing and reporting test results to ensure high software quality and making data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, fostering effective communication and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Designing and implementing automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing capabilities and stay ahead of the curve.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing, preferably in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and automation design patterns.
  • Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest, as well as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient, and familiarity with version control systems like Git and test reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Experience with BDD frameworks like SpecFlow to enhance testing capabilities and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices to streamline testing processes and improve overall software quality.
