Senior Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality assurance efforts for our web domain project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies and ensuring overall quality of the project.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for web applications
  • Lead and manage the QA team, including mentoring and providing guidance
  • Manage testing for web applications serving high-traffic and high-visibility client sites
  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
  • Oversee API and performance testing, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and deliverables
  • Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
  • Manage complex quality assurance and test environment challenges and issues

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software QA testing role
  • Excellent analytical and logical skills to think through new applications and strategise testing
  • Relevant work experience in manual testing of Web applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool
  • Good understanding of Web and Mobile based projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple diverse projects simultaneously
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with Linux environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or computer science or a related field
  • Certifications in software testing such as ISTQB or CMMI are preferred
