Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team in Bengaluru as Tecsys' first HR hire. As an integral part of our global growth strategy, you will be responsible for establishing our local HR function and ensuring the effective adaptation of global HR practices in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Talent Acquisition for India by managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with local hiring managers, and collaborating with the global Talent Acquisition team.
  • Manage and scale local HR operations, overseeing onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding, while serving as a trusted HR advisor to India-based managers and team members.
  • Ensure compliance and alignment with global HR practices, localizing and operationalizing HR policies, training, and systems in line with Indian labor law.
  • Localize and operationalize Total Rewards, partnering with the global Total Rewards team to adapt compensation and benefits programs for India, and ensuring local rewards programs are competitive and compliant.
  • Build and foster a strong culture, championing Tecsys' values, driving initiatives that strengthen engagement, wellbeing, and connection across the team, and supporting a culture of growth by enabling access to learning resources and development opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is operationally strong, curious, eager to grow, and has experience working in fast-paced, startup-like settings and matrixed or multinational organizations.

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in India, including a strong track record in Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards operations.
  • Very good understanding of Indian employment laws and statutory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience setting up HR practices in a fast-paced or scaling environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels and geographies.
  • Experience collaborating with global HR or TA teams in a matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate will have a global mindset, balancing local responsibility with global alignment, and flexibility to work across multiple time zones, including North America. A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is required, and a post-graduate qualification in HR or a recognized global certification is strongly preferred. Experience in tech, SaaS, or supply chain sectors is an asset.
