Job Description:

As a seasoned accounting professional, you will play a pivotal role in managing our U.S. accounting operations.

  • Review and process weekly timesheets and client invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports in QuickBooks, leveraging your expertise in financial software.
  • Manage and reconcile AP/AR accounts, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Assist with GL entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, working efficiently under pressure.
  • Support financial statement preparation in line with U.S. GAAP, demonstrating a strong grasp of regulatory requirements.
  • Track and manage PO expirations, ensuring timely documentation and record-keeping.
  • Maintain master data for employees, customers, and vendors, streamlining business processes.
  • Liaise with state agencies for payroll, unemployment, and tax matters, providing exceptional communication skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this critical role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in staffing or consulting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP, with the ability to apply complex regulations effectively.
  • Experience in payroll, AP/AR, and expense management, with a proven track record of success.
  • QuickBooks proficiency, with advanced knowledge of financial software.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
