The role of the Data Migration Expert is a critical one, playing a pivotal part in the end-to-end execution of data migration activities. This expert acts as a bridge between global and local teams, ensuring that local requirements are accurately captured and effectively delivered during deployment.

  • Data objects are deployed in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaboration takes place with Business Data Owners, Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Migration activities are driven forward for deployment projects.
  • Data transformation tools and outputs are verified for deployment wave projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Over 10 years of ERP project implementation experience, with strong data migration expertise.
  • A proven track record of data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • A deep understanding of SAP BODS, GxP, and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certification in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Prior Experience

This role requires prior experience leading data migration in large ERP programs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Migration Expert, your key responsibilities will include serving as the deployment wave focal point, collaborating with various teams, driving migration activities, verifying data transformation tools, managing DMW load file preparation, executing DVT scripts, coordinating defect resolution, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

This role demands a strategic and hands-on mindset, excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with fluency in English and additional languages preferred.
