Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Data Migration Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration, with expertise in SAP systems and experience working on full life cycle implementations.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) designs and be proficient in building SAP Data services 4.2, S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit, and other migration tools like LTMC, LTMOM. They will also have hands-on experience with Business Object Data Services (BODS) Designer Components, including Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores, and Formats.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with functional and business teams to deliver effective data migration solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for different S/4 HANA migration scenarios
  • Developing data migration programs/strategies for conversion of both Master and Transactional data from different legacy systems into SAP S/4 HANA
  • Providing consulting to business stakeholders to understand their data management issues/gaps and advising on appropriate data management strategies and techniques
  • Facilitating and conducting workshops with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, recommending, and presenting solutions
  • Collaborating with functional work teams to achieve business results

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • 7-15 years of experience in data migration, with a focus on SAP systems
  • Expertise in migration SAP BODS and Migration Cockpit, with experience in at least 4 projects
  • Good knowledge of ETL designs and build SAP Data services 4.2, S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit and hands-on with different migration tools like LTMC, LTMOM
  • SAP ABAP experience is essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong working experience of data transformations and data migration design and implementation for SAP
