Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced database professional to fill a key role in our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Perform daily health checks on Oracle environments, monitor GoldenGate processes, and track performance baselines.
  • Backup & Recovery: Execute RMAN backup/restore activities, apply standard database patches, and perform routine changes under change control.
  • Incident Response: Triage alarms, gather diagnostics, and restore services where possible, escalate incidents with clear context and impact summaries.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce security policies, maintain accurate CMDB records, and contribute to post-incident reviews.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Update knowledge articles and database topology diagrams, collaborate with teams, and provide concise updates when required.
Required Skills
  • Hands-on Oracle DBA experience (12c/19c+) with user/admin tasks, schema management, and privilege handling.
  • Brief understanding of Exadata (ASM, storage cells, smart scan concepts) and Linux administration.
  • Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate fundamentals (process roles, trail files, start/stop, lag checks).
  • Working knowledge of RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager/Cloud Control, and SQL*Plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and adhere to incident/change management processes.
