Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced senior storage solutions expert to lead our team.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader on storage architectures and integrations for our teams.

  • Provide expert storage guidance to our systems integration team for deploying Private Cloud Director (PCD) with various storage backends.
  • Closely collaborate with our engineering teams to inform design decisions and troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
  • Advise pre-sales engineers during customer solution design, proof of concepts, and RFP responses on optimal storage approaches.

Our ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including architecture design, implementation strategies, integrations, best practices, and operational patterns.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Design and document best practice architectures for integrating PCD with diverse storage solutions, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, S3, VMware RDM, and others like InfiniBand.
  • Guide and support integrations with vendor-specific storage solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain internal best practice guides for storage-related topics relevant to OpenStack and PCD.
