Job Overview
The role of Business Development Specialist involves developing and managing a portfolio of assigned clients in a specific geographical area. This sales position requires a unique combination of skills and passion for driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Searches and develops potential clients to meet monthly sales targets, utilizing effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Makes initial contact with potential customers through phone or email to gather information and set appointments.
- Analyzes customer needs and presents UPS services, highlighting the benefits and value proposition.
- Prepares bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
- Focusing on retaining and penetrating active clients within the portfolio, ensuring long-term business relationships.
- Maintains accurate records, resolves issues, and manages client portfolios effectively.
- Drafts and updates reports, monitoring sales performance and internal systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required.
- Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹850,000 - ₹1,200,000 (Rupees Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand to Rupees One Million Two Hundred Thousand), depending on qualifications and experience.
