Job Title: Power Transmission and Distribution Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer with expertise in Protection and Control Discipline to join our Power T&D team.

  • Lead the delivery of various projects, collaborating closely with colleagues for technical requirements and establishing strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop design drawings & documentation for Front End Engineering Design (FEED) such as Protection Single Line Diagrams, Work Specifications, Assessments for Auxiliary Systems, etc.
  • Interface substation auxiliary systems and other equipment with Protection & Control Systems.
  • Create detailed design deliverables – Circuit Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Cable Block Diagrams, General Arrangement Diagrams, Termination Schedules, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mentor junior engineers and graduate engineers.
  • Conduct Fault Current Calculations, Relay Settings, and IED Configurations based on skill sets and project requirements.
  • Oversee P&C design on a project and engage with other engineers.

Required Skills:

  • Strong English Communication Skills to coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing protection systems applied to Busbars, Feeders, Transformers, Reactors, etc. on 132kV and above systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • MS Office.
  • AutoCAD 2D.
  • Trimble (Amtech) – Desirable.
  • ETAP/PSCAD – Desirable.
